Slender Cashmere Fingerless Gloves

Ordered 2 pairs while they were on offer at 50% because I feel that £39 per pair is ridiculous. The price just keeps going up, and the service declining. See my other review below. These gloves are at least the right size, and of good quality, and they have finally got rid of the annoying scratchy label. I just wish I could choose the colour. I get the feeling that the offers are good for off-loading the colours that nobody else wants. This time the random colour generator gave me a dull murky navy blue, the worst kind of blue, that I would never have chosen myself. Id have been pretty peeved if Id have paid full price. Sort it out Turtle Doves.

Very disappointed my gloves came- but without the lovely Turtle Dices logo. My first purchased pair had the logo. I wrote in and was told you don’t put logo on anymore as scratchy. I don’t agree.

I ordered from the £25 offer so I guess I cant complain that the gloves I were sent were a lot thinner than the ones I have previously purchased. I did so because the price hike over the last 2 years has been extortionate. As much as these gloves are saving my sanity, £37 for one pair is difficult to swallow. I kept the gloves (citrus mix), along with a second much thicker pair (neutral mix), but I wouldnt have chosen them myself, I just wanted the regular density ones. Im not convinced the thinner ones are going to be hardy enough, and the thicker ones are too bulky do wear around the house. After ordering all the items that I thought would see me through the winter I then had my inbox bombarded with offers for free and less expensive gloves which is always a bit irritating on item you only buy once in a while. Also, It used to be possible to ask for small gloves to order, but now there is a 'slender' option and it's a colour gamble, you get what you are given. I prefer to coordinate my gloves with my clothes as I wear them pretty much constantly throughout winter, they become part of the outfit so its preferable to be able to choose the colours. I have been purchasing fingerless gloves for several years. I understand that costs have increased, and business models need to change, but I no longer feel confident that I can get what I want from turtledoves. Sorry turtledoves, I like you a lot, but you did ask me to leave a review and this is my honest feedback.
