Cashmere is a luxurious and soft type of wool that comes from the undercoat of cashmere goats. The fibres are finer and softer than regular wool, making it highly sought after for its warmth, softness, and durability. Soft and warm! This is my second beanie hat. The soft colours ( pale pink and grey) are just perfect. My previous purchase was just grey and I fancied a little more colour. Bought in the sale.

The beanie apparently arrived as promised. It is soft and fits well. However I am so disappointed with it as the colour selected was a pretty blue. What arrived was a green turquoise with strange greyish edging. The seams look very rough and ready/amateurish. I have wanted a Turtle dove beanie for a couple of years as I like the idea of recycling but so disappointed with the item. As it was a gift, I didn’t want to upset the person who gave it to me, so keeping it.

Due to the recycled nature of what we do means that every pair is unique, so you will receive a shade within the colour spectrum shown in the photographs. We are not able to hand pick individual colours, from the colour selection advised on the website. We will pass your feedback regarding the stitching of the seams to our factory manager. Very disappointed this is very small and tight on my head and shallow in depth . My previous beanie I purchased fitted perfectly and the seams were much better finished and I was pleased with which is why I purchased a second. Now I know why this was on offer - poor finishing and too small in size

Lightweight and warm. Doesn’t leave my hair greasy like a synthetic one does. I have a smaller than average head and it’s a good fit on me. It’s not elasticated but it has a bit of give.

Fantastic cashmere beanie. It’s soft, keeps my head very warm and looks great on. On these extra cold days I find it hard to take my beanie off. It fits well with enough room to style the beanie as you want when wearing it. Overall shopping at Turtle Doves website is a pleasure. I bought a black beanie for my partner as a Christmas present, as I accidentally damaged one of his favourite beanies with the wrong wash in the washing machine (typical!). I was upset, as he really liked that Lacoste beanie and I couldn't afford to buy him another one...initially I didn't know what to do but then I thought to buy a similar beanie from Turtles Doves, as I have had a very good experience with their fingerless gloves....Well, my partner is absolutely delighted by the quality, shape and comfort of the product, and so am I !!! Just need to remember to wash it by hands in cold water 😜
