I was quite disappointed with the colour as I actually ordered purple but what I received was what can only be described as a dirty lavender colour. As these were a Christmas gift and due to the really late delivery there was no time to return them. I shall not be purchasing again!

Feel conned by the marketing.the title said Cable Green. This wool and colour is not true to the description. I come from a family of knitters and this is NOT a cable knit when you receive them. This is a thin weave ribbed knit - a completely different quality. They are tight on the arm element too - I bought the green fake cable as well as a plain grey pair (from the one of a kind selection and I’d say grey is hay one of a kind unlike where they advertise leopard print and rainbow coloured gloves. I got sent grey - as one of a kind)

Due to the recycled nature of what we do means that every pair is unique, so you will receive a shade within the colour spectrum shown in the photographs. I bought these gloves as I loved the cable pattern. I have 2 other pairs of fingerless gloves by Turtle Doves, so I knew they'd be good quality. What I love is the fact the cable design are a little bit thicker, so perfect for the colder days/evenings ahead. I bought the gloves in Daffodil colour. Soon as I ordered, I sent a message to Customer Services asking if they would kindly select me a small pair and a paler yellow due to my colouring. In the past I've been able to add a note on my order with any requests but not this time. I received a message back saying I would receive a pair within the colour spectrum, which would be fine if the colour spectrum had been shown in photos but there was just a photo showing a buttermilk yellow pair of cable gloves, so this is what I was expecting to receive. I actually received a pair which were a deeper brighter yellow, so initially I was disappointed but with the 50% discount offer, they do represent excellent value for money, so I'll keep them. The other thing is when the gloves arrived they were labelled Lemon rather than daffodil. I would say though, taking out the note section so customers can make requests (obviously they can't always be fulfilled) seems a step backwards in customer care.

Lovely gloves and really liked the twist with the cable knit. I have small fingers (not long) so these were excellent fit for me. So many ladies gloves have long fingers which leave me so upset as they don’t fit. No issues at all with these. Plus they are slightly thicker I found when compared to the standard cashmere gloves. So pleased this is my 4 th pair from this company and I highly recommend them.

My first order with turtle doves, was not disappointed! Beautiful orange cable knit, lovely and soft but thick, just was I wanted for a winter trip to Switzerland. They did seem on the snaller side at first, but fit perfectly after a couple of wears. Loved so much I bought a second stripy pair!

these are lovely gloves very soft and warm my only complaint is the colour i ordered the berry thinking I would get a pair of dark reddy purple gloves the ones I got were more like lilac
