Feel conned by the marketing.the title said Cable Green. This wool and colour is not true to the description. I come from a family of knitters and this is NOT a cable knit when you receive them. This is a thin weave ribbed knit - a completely different quality. They are tight on the arm element too - I bought the green fake cable as well as a plain grey pair (from the one of a kind selection and I’d say grey is hay one of a kind unlike where they advertise leopard print and rainbow coloured gloves. I got sent grey - as one of a kind)

I bought these gloves as I loved the cable pattern. I have 2 other pairs of fingerless gloves by Turtle Doves, so I knew they'd be good quality. What I love is the fact the cable design are a little bit thicker, so perfect for the colder days/evenings ahead. I bought the gloves in Daffodil colour. Soon as I ordered, I sent a message to Customer Services asking if they would kindly select me a small pair and a paler yellow due to my colouring. In the past I've been able to add a note on my order with any requests but not this time. I received a message back saying I would receive a pair within the colour spectrum, which would be fine if the colour spectrum had been shown in photos but there was just a photo showing a buttermilk yellow pair of cable gloves, so this is what I was expecting to receive. I actually received a pair which were a deeper brighter yellow, so initially I was disappointed but with the 50% discount offer, they do represent excellent value for money, so I'll keep them. The other thing is when the gloves arrived they were labelled Lemon rather than daffodil. I would say though, taking out the note section so customers can make requests (obviously they can't always be fulfilled) seems a step backwards in customer care.

Love the cable knit version. I've several fingerless gloves already and bought the the cable in orange and baby pink. One is a gift and I'm sure they will love them too.
