Product Details

These Turtle Doves fingerless gloves are made from pre-shrunk cashmere jumpers. They appear thicker and more supportive than our standard gloves, making them ideal for more hands-on outdoor activities such as gardening or dog walking due to the thicker and sturdier fibres. However, they do have less stretch, so are most suited to small hands.

The recycled nature of what we do means that every pair is unique. Colours and styles will vary. They come wrapped with their own recycled packaging, so they make a lovely present too.
Material
Cashmere is a luxurious and soft type of wool that comes from the undercoat of cashmere goats. The fibres are finer and softer than regular wool, making it highly sought after for its warmth, softness, and durability. Cashmere is known for its lightweight feel, insulation properties, and ability to keep you warm in the winter while also being breathable in the summer. Cashmere garments and accessories are a worthwhile investment due to their comfort, longevity, and timeless appeal.

Even in summer Raynaud's can occur. I prefer the felted mittens they are lovely and thick. I wear them when I am on my laptop.

I bought two pairs of the felted gloves, one for a gift and one for me. Mine is my third pair of Turtle Dove gloves and I have to say not my favourite. They are very tight. I'm hoping that they will stretch in time. I don't think I'd buy the felted ones again, unless for a child, or someone with very slim hands.

First time I have purchased the felted version of the fingerless gloves. I decided to give them a go based on reviews that said they came up tight, which would be ideal for my small hands (I usually opt for the slimmer fit in the traditional version if possible). Unfortunately, these came up very big and overly long - so, sadly, I had to return them, hence the docking of one star.

I ordered some felted gloves from the citrus mix. I was expecting anything from yellow to orange based on the picture but I got more like red/brown. I love the softness and quality of the gloves but wish there was more accurate choice in the felted gloves. I understand why they are aren’t guaranteed colours because you are recycling but perhaps more categories would help avoid disappointment.

I have several pairs of Felted fingerless gloves. I would really like/love to be able to select the shade of the colour from the colour mix. Such as light,mid,dark. I was hoping at least one pair to be darkish blue to wear with a uniform but got very very light blue and bright blue. I was looking for them to be discreet not make a statement. Still really great gloves and went well with other outfits. I am a big fan or your felted fingerless gloves.

I completely understand why you’d want more control over the shade, especially for something like a uniform where a discreet tone matters. At the moment, the colour mixes are created from the yarns we have available, so each pair is unique and we can’t guarantee a specific shade within the mix. That’s part of their charm, but I appreciate it can be tricky when you’re hoping for something darker. Lovely colour gloves I selected bright green , which they are not however they are a light green so I am happy with that however the gloves are really tight, I only have small hands but they are quite restricting, I’m hoping they will loosen a little as time goes on as I do like them, great for a gift idea.

I'm quite disappointed with these. I love my old Turtle Dove cashmere fingerless gloves and was so upset I lost one. I went to order a replacement pair and the felted ones were the only ones in stock. They're a really light grey whereas I'd hoped for charcoal (I ordered grey mix, didn't realise they could be any grey). I wouldn't mind that so much but they're really small. My hands are slim and I have tiny wrists but these are really tight - uncomfortably so, as my fingers are starting to tingle after wearing them for typing.

These are my fifth pair of Turtle Doves cashmere fingerless gloves - 2 were gifts for other people and I've just ordered myself another pair. The felted variety was a more structured, slightly tighter fit, which was lovely. In fact, I was wearing these when I tripped over a broken paving stone and, even though one was a bit shredded, it saved my hands from being badly grazed. I personally find these cashmere gloves to be very beneficial in coping with my carpel tunnel syndrome. I can wear them indoors and outdoors!

Excellent comfort and warmth both around the home, but especially when in bed. My arthritis is less painful when I wear these gloves. I have a small wrist (16 cm) and these are a little large, but still wearable.

The fingerless gloves arrived very quickly, and nicely packed. They are ideal to use in my new car, which has a touch screen so ordinary gloves don't work. Arthritis in my hands means I need to wear gloves in cold weather, and these meet my requirements.

I purchased a pair of fingerless gloves to replace an old dog walking pair. There was a one centimetre hole in one of the seams on one glove. I emailed customer services and Sarah promptly organised for another pair to be sent out. They arrived in perfect condition. Issues do occur but it was dealt with so well. Would recommend

I ordered a cream pair of felted gloves, unfortunately I received a pair which were more an oatmeal colour. This is the second time I have tried to order these gloves. The last time I received a camel coloured pair. It is really disappointing as it doesn’t match anything I own. I will have to return them.
